Description

A one-on-one or group, foraging experience.

Imagine spending an afternoon immersed in nature, exploring wild plants, trees, and mushrooms, while learning about our deep connection to the natural world. We’ll forage together and transform our discoveries into a nourishing tea, brewed over a stove in the heart of the wild. Along the way, the lucky recipient will receive handcrafted gifts, made from these foraged treasures, like a soothing balm, a restorative tincture, or whatever best suits their personal needs.

This is more than just a present, it’s a deeply personal, hands-on adventure, designed to reconnect us with nature in a beautiful, fun, and meaningful way.

And it’s not just for one! Whether it’s a one-on-one experience or a private group booking for friends and family, this wild adventure can be tailored to your wishes. Perfect for birthdays, celebrations, or simply to gift someone a unique, unforgettable experience. I’ll work closely with you to craft the perfect day, customised to your loved one’s desires and within your budget

Get in touch and we will tailor the day together, for your loved ones. 4/5 hours (or more if we get carried away) in the woodland (or wherever) of your choice. Or, you could come and use our cosy cabin and nature reserve, if you’d prefer.

I bought a voucher for my Dad,who is a resident at The Grange in Colne.
Pete came to the home to give residents, family and friends of the Grange ,a very informative talk about plants ,trees and fungi.
I would highly recommend buying a voucher for sny special occasion for friends and family.

Well what a truly enjoyable Friday playing out in the woods. What a fantastic experience looking, touching, tasting and learning from the lovely Pete who made the short journey over the hill to the woods above Hebden Bridge where we explored the areas of my lo-cal, opening my eyes being at one with nature, a little fire in the woods to brew some Winter Night Time Tea one of Pete’s creations. His enthusiasm is infectious, and he has an incredible ability to make even the smallest plant or fungi feel fascinating and important.
The experience was the perfect balance of education and hands-on exploration. Pete explained how to safely identify a wide range of edible and medicinal plants, sharing practical tips, folklore, and ecological insights along the way. I particularly appreciated how strongly he emphasised responsible, sustainable foraging — respecting habitats, harvesting ethically, and truly understanding what you’re picking.
Well worth it! Big thanks Pete Compo
