Events

There’s always something gently unfolding at Pendle Plant Craft.

From foraging walks and shared meals, crafting, learning, and simply being in nature together.

Some sessions are guided. Some are open.
All are shaped by the people who come.

No pressure. No expectations.
Just an open invitation to step into something a little different 🌿
If you’re unsure where to start, come along to anything that feels right. There’s always a brew on, and someone to welcome you in

Weekly Schedule W/C 11.05.2026

Monday 18 May – Closed (click to see more)

Pendle Plant Craft is built on openness, and everyone is always welcome.
At times, the cabin is used for private or supported sessions, where a quieter, more held space is needed. On these days, the cabin may be closed to general drop-ins.
We love the spontaneity of people arriving and finding their way here, but we gently ask that you check this page before coming, just to avoid a wasted journey.
Even when the cabin is closed, the surrounding nature is always open, and just as much a part of what we share.

Wednesday 20 May – All welcome at the cabin for our usual shenanigans. Owlbright Ellie, a regular visitor to the cabin, will be here with a book-arts activity for young makers from 11 to 1pm. You can find Owlbright Learning on Facebook and Instagram to see examples of lovely creative work.(click to see more)

We’ll be at the cabin from 10:30am into the early evening, following whatever the day, and those who gather, naturally calls for. It might be:

* Foraging and wandering the landscape

* Conservation work and quiet connection with the reserve

* Cooking, crafting, feasting, and learning together with the seasons

No two days are ever the same, but the rhythm is simple: we’ll be there, making, learning, sharing, and living gently on the land.

A soft outline of the day:

10:00 — arrive, settle in, have a brew or a snack.

11:00 — head out for a forage in whichever direction the hedgerows invite

Lunchtime — return to the cabin, cook together, eat together.

Afternoon — conservation, crafting, creating, learning, resting, connecting… and if the flow is right, we sometimes stay for tea too

You’re also welcome to use the space in your own way.

If you’d like to bring a craft project and tuck yourself into the calm of the zen space, beautiful.

If you home educate and want to use the desks or resources for maths, English, nature learning, or collaborative projects with other families. Please do.

You can join in with whatever we’re doing, do your own thing alongside us, or move between the two.

And of course, if you’d simply like to nip in for a brew and a breather, you’re always welcome.

Sunday 24 May – Big Bike Revival with Ribble Valley Adventure & CyclingUK at Pendle Plant Craft (click to see more)

Get ready to pedal into the adventure with our Big Bike Revival events, proudly supported by Cycling UK North West England and Ribble Valley Adventure
Join us this Sunday May 10 for guided cycle rides, hands-on learn-to-fix, and learn-to-ride sessions. The excitement starts at 12 pm with leisurely cycling on flat terrain, ideal for both beginners and seasoned riders, from 1 pm to 3 pm.
Immerse yourself in the breathtaking beauty of Lomeshaye Marsh Nature Reserve, uncovering its hidden treasures and discovering the wonders of local fungi, flora, and fauna as you pedal through nature’s playground.
Recharge between sessions with a FREE cooked meal (A wild soup with all the best Spring has to offer. We could get the ice cream maker out too?) and refreshments infused with wild ingredients from 3 to 4 pm!
Worried about equipment? Fear not! We’ve got you covered with bikes, helmets, and tools provided, but you are welcome to bring and use your own. However, equipment is limited, so be sure to book in advance (DM us) if you wish to use any of our top-quality gear!
If your bike needs a tune-up or some TLC, bring it along to our learn-to-fix sessions! We’ll use these bikes as live demonstrations while we work on them, helping others learn the ropes of bike maintenance – all at no cost!
Our events aren’t just about biking; they’re about fostering community, having fun, and learning. While some of us enjoy the cycling adventures, others can indulge in crafty, fun, and nature-based activities at the cabin. Bring your friends and family along to share in the excitement!
Your participation doesn’t just benefit you – it helps us secure future funding, enabling us to expand our horizons and make cycling accessible to many, with initiatives planned where we can provide free bikes to those wishing to get into riding more regularly and many more exciting plans we have should these continue to be the success they have been so far. Share your biking adventures with us and encourage others to join. Provide your email address after the sessions to receive post-event surveys, and you’ll receive a free gift as our thanks

Upcoming and Regular Gatherings…

Upcoming Gatherings…

There’s nothing scheduled here just now, but things tend to appear as the seasons shift.

Keep an eye on this space, or come along to a weekly session and see what’s unfolding 🌿

Regular Gatherings (what’s happening week to week)...
Cacao Ceremony & Sound Healing — Fortnightly

Gentle. Heart-opening. Restorative.

Join us for a sacred cacao ceremony followed by an immersive sound healing experience. This gathering is an invitation to slow down, connect with yourself and others, and create space for calm in body and mind.

We begin with ceremonial cacao. A warm, nourishing plant drink traditionally used to support relaxation, emotional flow, and heart-centered awareness. From there, we will settle into a deeply calming sound journey, allowing the vibrations to ease tension and soothe the nervous system. The evening closes with a quiet, supportive circle. A space to share, breathe, or simply be.

This event is open to everyone and no previous experience is needed.

Every fortnight on Monday

Upcoming dates:

Monday 2 March

Monday 16 March

Monday 30 March

7:00pm – 9:00pm (approx)
Donation: £6

To Book Email: pendleplantcraft@gmail.com

What to bring: A blanket and/or pillow to make yourself comfortable. Yoga mats and additional blankets are available, but you are welcome to bring your own.

We look forward to holding this gentle space with you 💛

Brain health Breakthrough CIC – Monthly

We’re really pleased to be collaborating with Brain Health Breakthrough CIC to offer a new series of gentle, inclusive wellbeing sessions at Pendle Plant Craft.

These sessions have been thoughtfully created for people living with chronic illness, ME/CFS, Long Covid, brain injury, fatigue, sensory sensitivity, or fluctuating energy levels. For anyone who loves nature but finds many social or outdoor spaces inaccessible.

Nature connection doesn’t have to mean long walks, busy groups, or pushing through exhaustion. Sometimes it’s about sitting with a plant, noticing a tree, learning one small thing, sharing a brew, and being allowed to come exactly as you are.

This collaboration is rooted in lived experience, care, and the belief that everyone deserves access to the quiet, restorative relationships that plants, trees, and fungi can offer. At a pace that honours individual energy and needs.

Session Schedule- 12pm-3pm

September – 10th Peer support session

February 12th – Peer support session

March – 12th Plant Craft with Pete

April – 9th Peer support session

May – 14th Plant Craft with Pete

June – 11th Peer support session

July – 9th Plant Craft with Pete

August – 13th Peer support session

If this feels like something you, or someone you care about, would benefit from. You are very welcome. There’s no pressure, no expectations, and no “right” way to take part.

Details are on the poster, and you can join the mailing list via Brain Health Breakthrough CIC to stay updated.

We’re really looking forward to learning together.
