Monday

Cacao Ceremony and Sound Healing with Trishma Healing x

Monday 16 February: 7pm-9pm (ish)

Tuesday = WILD PANCAKE DAY.

We’ll be at the cabin from 10:30am into the early evening, following whatever the day, and those who gather, naturally calls for. It might be:

* Foraging and wandering the landscape

* Conservation work and quiet connection with the reserve

* Cooking, crafting, feasting, and learning together with the seasons

No two days are ever the same, but the rhythm is simple: we’ll be there, making, learning, sharing, and living gently on the land.

A soft outline of the day:

10:00 — arrive, settle in, have a brew or a snack (Pancakes)

11:00 — head out for a forage in whichever direction the hedgerows invite

Lunchtime — return to the cabin, cook together, eat together (Pancakes)

Afternoon — conservation, crafting, creating, learning, resting, connecting… and if the flow is right, we sometimes stay for tea too

You’re also welcome to use the space in your own way. (Pancakes)

If you’d like to bring a craft project and tuck yourself into the calm of the zen space, beautiful. (Pancakes)

If you home educate and want to use the desks or resources for maths, English, nature learning, or collaborative projects with other families. Please do.

You can join in with whatever we’re doing, do your own thing alongside us, or move between the two. (Pancakes)

And of course, if you’d simply like to nip in for a brew and a breather, you’re always welcome. (Pancakes)

PAAAAAAANCAAAAAAAKES.

Thursday & Friday | 10:30am – 6pm
Willow Care & Cabin Day

We’re nearing the end of the willow management season, and this week we’ll be giving the marsh willows some long-overdue care.

This is a shared stewardship day, and there are lots of ways to be part of it. You might fancy getting hands-on with the willow work itself, helping to coppice and shape trees that support the health of the reserve. Or you might prefer to be at the cabin, keeping the kettle on, helping with food, or simply offering company and warmth to those coming and going.

You’re also very welcome to come along just to spend time here. To enjoy the space, watch the work unfold, wander the marsh, or sit by the cabin and soak it all in. Every presence helps shape the day.

We have some tools and PPE available, but if you have your own you’re welcome to bring them along.

As ever, the day will unfold at its own pace. Seasonal, practical, communal, and grounded in care for the land and one another.

There is loads of willow on site. Some of what we cut will be used to create habitat piles around the reserve, but there are also plenty of lovely whips that we intend to harvest and share. These will be used in future weaving workshops, and because there is so much, we’re very happy for people to take willow home too.

You’re welcome to take as many willow whips as you’d like to process yourself, completely free. We’ll also be drying some in our container so there will be seasoned willow to share later on as well.

Regular Gatherings...

Cacao Ceremony & Sound Healing — Fortnightly

Gentle. Heart-opening. Restorative.

Join us for a sacred cacao ceremony followed by an immersive sound healing experience. This gathering is an invitation to slow down, connect with yourself and others, and create space for calm in body and mind.

We begin with ceremonial cacao. A warm, nourishing plant drink traditionally used to support relaxation, emotional flow, and heart-centered awareness. From there, we will settle into a deeply calming sound journey, allowing the vibrations to ease tension and soothe the nervous system. The evening closes with a quiet, supportive circle. A space to share, breathe, or simply be.

This event is open to everyone and no previous experience is needed.

When: Every fortnight on Monday
Time: 7:00pm – 9:00pm (approx)
Donation: £6

What to bring: A blanket and/or pillow to make yourself comfortable. Yoga mats and additional blankets are available, but you are welcome to bring your own.

We look forward to holding this gentle space with you 💛

Drumming Circle — Fortnightly

Rhythmic. Communal. Joyful.

We’re really pleased to be holding a regular drumming circle at Pendle Plant Craft in collaboration with Rainbow Drumming Circle.

This is an energising, heart-opening space to come together in rhythm. Whether you’re a seasoned drummer or have never picked up a drum before, you are warmly welcome.

Drumming together is grounding, uplifting, and deeply connecting. It invites us into the present moment, into the body, and into shared experience with one another and the land around us.

What to expect:

• A variety of drums available — including shamanic, flat, bodhrán, and djembe
• Space to explore different rhythms and styles
• Gentle guidance where needed
• A welcoming, inclusive atmosphere to learn, share, and enjoy the powerful experience of drumming together

No experience is needed — just bring your rhythm.

Brain health Breakthrough CIC – Monthly

We’re really pleased to be collaborating with Brain Health Breakthrough CIC to offer a new series of gentle, inclusive wellbeing sessions at Pendle Plant Craft.

These sessions have been thoughtfully created for people living with chronic illness, ME/CFS, Long Covid, brain injury, fatigue, sensory sensitivity, or fluctuating energy levels. For anyone who loves nature but finds many social or outdoor spaces inaccessible.

Nature connection doesn’t have to mean long walks, busy groups, or pushing through exhaustion. Sometimes it’s about sitting with a plant, noticing a tree, learning one small thing, sharing a brew, and being allowed to come exactly as you are.

This collaboration is rooted in lived experience, care, and the belief that everyone deserves access to the quiet, restorative relationships that plants, trees, and fungi can offer. At a pace that honours individual energy and needs.

Session Schedule- 12pm-3pm

September – 10th Peer support session

February 12th – Peer support session

March – 12th Plant Craft with Pete

April – 9th Peer support session

June – 11th Peer support session

Details are on the poster, and you can join the mailing list via Brain Health Breakthrough CIC to stay updated.

We’re really looking forward to learning together.
